Airen, Bindery Operator
Airen has 10 years of experience in the printing industry. She has operated various bindery equipment including folders, stichers, and processed color work using Konica color printers. She had her own room with the meter machine, folding machine and larger printer for more demanding print jobs. Additionally, she performed mail and package processing and distribution and processed outbound fulfillment. Bindery Operators at Plum Grove run a variety of specialized production equipment, including a collator (makes booklets), folder (brochures), cutter and inserter (stuffs envelopes, up to 5,000 per hour).
Airen usually is dancing in various theatre productions with a non-profit theatre group. She also does volunteer work at the longest Chicago running horror convention every summer. She enjoys taking cruises and traveling, and in the colder months enjoys watching a horror movie or reading a good supernatural thriller book with her two cat fur babies, Trubel and Gus.
Trubel & Gus
Trubel is Airen’s covid baby. Trubel was adopted on December 31st of 2020. Trubel is a beautiful Tortie, who lives up to her true tortietude. She loves zoomies, laser toys, and a black string.
Gus was adopted in September of 2019. He is a handsome tabby cat, who enjoys watching all the critters and birds outside and chilling on the couch. He also enjoys playing with crinkle toys and singing his crinkle song.
