Plum Grove Inc. Receives Award for Wide-Format Printing Excellence
Cary, IL • April 20, 2022 – Plum Grove Inc., an integrated print and marketing agency, is proud to announce it is the recipient of the 2022 Best of Category Award in wide format printing from the Great Lakes Graphic Association (GLGA). This award recognizes print marketers for creativity and innovation. The competition rewards companies throughout Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin for superb craftsmanship in the design, creation and production of best-in-class print marketing and merchandising.
During the creation of the signage, Plum Grove Inc. worked closely with RedBud Extracts, a premium cannabis brand in Oklahoma. Plum Grove Inc. supported the brand with a market analysis, brand position, website refresh, event marketing, merchandising and advertising. The award-winning signage was developed for event marketing at retail, pop-up events and trade shows.
Plum Grove’s award-winning creative department selected a large format vinyl banner that the client could use for both portability and durability. The 50-in x 122-in banner was printed on an HP 570 roll-fed wide format printer with grommets along the top and bottom at 24-in intervals for easy hanging. Wind slits were also cut into the banner to keep it from tearing or being destroyed while used outdoors.
RedBud Extracts delivers a premium vaping experience to the medical cannabis community. Drawing on its local heritage, the company embraced a culture unbound by convention – pioneering the first-to-market weed vaporizer pod in Oklahoma. Forging further into uncharted territory, it scrutinized and fine-tuned the cannabis extraction process to introduce the maximum-potency distillate RedBud Extracts is known for today.
The Great Lakes Graphics Association’s Graphics Excellence Award (GEAs) is the largest regional affiliate print competition and is intensely competitive. The Great Lakes Graphics Association is a non-profit association that advocates for and provides services to printers and graphics companies. The GLGA represents 13% of the total print market in the United States accounts for combined annual shipments of nearly $19 billion, according to the most recent Print Market Atlas.
