Peter, Founder

Plum Grove’s founder and sales manager, Peter Lineal, may concentrate on sales but keeps his hands on all aspects of the business. His passion is to have the Plum Grove team and services help clients to grow and do it profitably. You can find him in any corner of the factory, answering a question, helping adjust a machine, or on the phone with a prospective client. He started the company in 1980, getting the keys to the shop the same day his daughter, Kara, was born. His self-proclaimed biggest accomplishment is that his five children turned into productive adults. He is also proud that his Boy Scout troops have produced 15 Eagle Scouts, that he is a past president of the Chamber of Commerce, and that his company has earned a Small Business of the Year award and the Green Award from the state of Illinois. He also loves to camp in his RV and spend time with his three grandchildren.
