Over the decades, Malteurop cemented its sterling reputation as a leading malt provider for large commercial breweries. A recent move into the highly-competitive craft brewing and distilling industry created the need for completely new B2B sales and marketing initiatives. To drive brand awareness with craft brewers, the one-stop shop provided trade show event services, digital marketing consulting, direct mail, promotional products, and graphic design services.

In addition, Plum Grove launched Malteurop’s myBrandHub web-to-print website to automate the creation, printing, approval, and fulfillment processes for marketing collateral. We sat down with Malteurop B2B Marketing Specialist Gretchen Jones to discuss the value that Plum Grove brings to their business.

PG: Thank you for taking the time to speak with us, Gretchen! To get things started, how have the services offered by Plum Grove augmented what you are able to do in-house with your existing team? 

GJ: Since moving our graphic design to Plum Grove we have been able to streamline our project management with our existing team. I’m the only marketing person and Plum Grove has become my marketing team. There’s not one project they haven’t been able to offer expertise or steer me in the right direction.

PG: What would you estimate that working with Plum Grove has saved you in terms of labor, headaches, learning curves, etc. as compared to attempting to tackle these projects in-house? 

GJ: Kara and Leslie have been key in getting me organized and keeping projects moving. They have saved me so much time by simply keeping me organized and on track. They are always available for a quick phone call to go through a project to save emails and time.

PG: How would you describe the quality of the finished product(s) overall? In what ways do they enhance your brand?

GJ: Plum Grove does quality work in everything they do. Their in-house print services are outstanding. They are constantly sending me new ideas to incorporate into our brand. I was given so many options for tradeshow materials this year. From booth options to new technology, they are experts in quality and efficiency for our business.

PG: How would you describe the quality in context with what you would be able to accomplish in-house?

GJ: We would not be able to accomplish a fraction as much in house as I’m just one person.
